Well done Sir.

Two small points.
1. It needs a wing.
2. That leaf stuck in the side grill will be causing huge amounts of drag which you should have been aware of in your test drives.

Afternoon Steve

1. It has a wing - but you couldnt see it in the garage roof beams.
2. The leaf is proof that you do get some airflow into the side grills ( i knew i should have Photoshopped!) laugh

Hi Daniel

The dash is from SPA
http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/dashsystem/

and yes they are bags of silica, had some left over from some deliveries so just chucked them in the car, garage not heated and they probably wont do anything but also wont harm. laugh

Hey - I really like it Dave - top job !!

Can I ask about the fixing method for the side windows - ?
I like that look - why did you not do the same for the headlight covers - any reason ?

Also - the side indicators look good - where did they come from ?

Thanks very much
Regards

Kelvin

Good job ! hope you enjoy it soon.
In my opinion I'm seriously convinced that definitively the rear grill is a problem which should be solved by our friends at factory. It looks really poor and impersonal and ruins the fantastic shape of the GTR.

Cheers,

Hi Kelvin
The side indicators were (i think) from Europa Spares, who will be at the show on Sunday/Monday, But to be honest they are nothing special, just clear oval repeaters, also have a pair that have been sprayed red, not sure if i will fit them now though.

The story with the side windows/ headlight covers is ;- I fitted the headlight covers long before i had seen the bolted in version in the flesh. I liked the bolted in version so did the side windows. I had always though that i would try with an opening side window plan but wasnt keen on the sealing/locking systems i had seen/tried.

Hi Graham

Thanks, no locks, on a fob, but not on poppers, didnt want them popping if pressed accidently. They just need lifting while the fob is pressed although it seems on a cold day they door seal is much springier and pops the door to the latch position
