Right I have a very annoying problem with my Cerbera, it was starting to do it last year (only just got round to putting it back on the road for the better weather). Some times when I would go to open the boot by pressing the badge the solenoid would not just unlock it once but carrying on going in and out until I unplugged. But after about 5 - 10 mins of moving things around it would stop and I could carry on. However its now got the to point where it just wont stop at all and everytime I plug it back in, off it goes again.

I did find some dodgy wires and connections that I thought was the problem and re-wired them hoping they would solve it, but no luck.

When its doing it the relay in the control box is switching on and off as well. So being a TVR and checking the logical things that would be the problem on a normal car is the wrong way to go, any ideas where to look now? Everything else works fine electrically anyway.

Sounds like the rear badge may need adjusting or the switch behind it is either sticking or shorted.

My money's on the badge. 2 nust and a couple of springs make it pop out.

I suspect it's full of muck behind the badge too.
