I found this whilst nosing around for parts for my TVR. You guys may well know about it already, but thought i'd post it in-case not.

Is this serious..can it really be re-built??

My thoughts too, there's nothing left of it!

Does state Cat B parts/rebuild.

Is the whole site a joke?

"Not Currently Showing on HPI - May Need VIC Check"

Surely they know the identity of the car from the reg and chassis number... And how come they don't have the V5's from the cars?

Cat B = Never to be put back on the road but parts MAY be salvaged from it.

Cat A = Instant destruction - No parts to be salvaged. Entire vehicle to be crushed!

I think in their "3 word summary" they mean that the parts / spares from it are of use to someone looking to do a rebuild - eg rebuild an engine maybe... or looking for the odd bit for a restoration.

cat C cars only get a V5 when the repairer/new onwer takes them for a vic check, cat D should have a V5 issued by the insurance company but quite often they can not be bothered to forward them on or do so 6 months later.....

100% correct, &
the car is in there 'car parts' section
I think they were just taking the pea with the wording !

Top Gear could do something with that.

Now there's an idea for the new series!
