Chaps i drive a 05 530i se (e60), this morning on the way in i noticed the headlight washers were not working when i washed the windscreen. Fairly certian there is still plenty of washer fluid in the resevoir and the lights were obvioulsy definately on. Any body know what mgiht be going on? I did plenty of washes on numerous occasions.

Thanks for any help

Just to check, they aren't programmed to wash every time? Headlamps need to be on, & then it's every fifth squirt IIRC. If that's already covered, chances are the pipe work has deteriorated, such that it's leaking away before it gets to the nozzles. Test on a dry day see if you're getting water from elsewhere. Could also be a blockage, or a popped fuse.
