Just having a look at this place and looks great fun... used to do a lot of crazy mountain biking when i was younger and looking to have anouther go !

Yep, its alright for an afternoon out on the bike. Don't bother taking a big bike though, it will just be slow and cumbersome there.

Not a huge fan of Northshore, so it doesn't appeal greatly...

what do you mean big bike ? I have a stumpjumper hard tail at the minute... is that not really going to be suited to it then ?

I meant as in big 'freeride huck monster'

I'm not too up on Specialized though, is that an XC bike?

Nope, just a straight stumpy hard tail... about 18 months old

Yes, it's an XC bike.

ES is alright. I went and checked it out but never took my bike. Would like to go but house, work, proper riding, OH all get in the way.

hahah thats whats getting my way as well..... But now the football season is coming to an end, i have my saturdays back ! And seeing as i am not proffesional anymore there is no contract saying i can't throw myself down a cliff on a bike... perfect ! smile

hahah thats whats getting my way as well..... But now the football season is coming to an end, i have my saturdays back ! And seeing as i am not proffesional anymore there is no contract saying i can't throw myself down a cliff on a bike... perfect ! smile
i would never have guessed that michael owen was a mountain biker!.... wink

seeing that place reminds me of watching "kickstart" on a saturday morning as a kid!
