Car just booked in for gaz Gold Pro shocks to be fitted The car is a 1997 500, with standard and by now, a bit tired original shocks.

Who else has done this and how much of a difference did it make? Also, and very importantly, should i think of slightly lowering the car at the same time?

The car will be used predominately on the road plus a few track days. All geometry to be set up at the same time.

I'd set the car to the heights posted on here recently.
The springs do have a tendency to sink slightly as they settle in and you'll probably end up winding them up a fraction in a few months anyway because you're catching the exhaust on the floor.
They can look a bit over done and just 'not right' IMHO if you try to set it lower.

I had Nitrons & PolyBushes fitted by Racing Green last year. They set the ride height slightly lower which looks great. Only problem is the tyres foul on full lock !

Anglesey GP circuit 17 May will be my 1st track day of the new season - trip there & back should be special too !!
