Improving the brakes

Ive had my MAC1 for about 6 months now. It runs braided lines, fresh good quality brake fluid, discs all round with sierra front and rear calipers and I think greenstuff pads.
Ive found since fitting the 888's the limits on everything have been stretched! Once I get the brakes and tyres warm say 10/15 mins into my drive with me pushing the pedal damn hard it'll stop quick but wont lock. I havnt suffered any fade but feel some more bite would be nice.
At the moment my cars with MAC1 Motorsport having seperate issues fixed while in there Im thinking on possibly sorting this. I think the rear will be fine but I cant decide whether to run a super soft/grippy front pad or to uprate the calipers to say some willwood 4pots?
Has anyone got any experience with any of this and poss just some advise

I put 283mm vented discs with Wilwood Midilights on my Rush and they work really well. I would be wary of going to big with the discs because they will be harder to get up to temperature. Mine need a couple of strong applications to get them working nicely as it is (although they are still good when cold). I'm just using the smart pads that Rally Design sell.
A lot of people seem to get squealing problems with the Wilwoods though just as a warning, but I have never had that problem so I don't know what I've done differently to everyone else!

I've changed from a Tiger with Sierra vented disks and EBC pads, much like your current setup, to a similar weight car (SSC Stylus) with Hi Spec 4 pots on drilled and vented disks, and the braking is far superior. With standard sierra 9 inch drums on the rear I was never far off locking a rear wheel in the Tiger, but the extra retardation up front remedies that on the Stylus.

They seem to be very good at MAC. When I dropped mine off there some of the designs they were working on I thought were brilliant. You'll see mine in there. Has Black Cobra leather seats in bright yellow with a chequed flag design down the side...you'll also see why its in there!Unbeliveable difference!

I found the same with my std sierra rear discs on the back when I ran my sure slip non grip kumho's. If I braked hard I could look the rear before the front. The setup you had does sound much like mine. Once I get a finishing time from MAC I may inquire on costs for them to do that while Im at it. Thinking only to change the front though.I had someone else say just change the pads to real soft but there expensive and I cant see them lasting long so poss gone off that idea
