Gents,

I have removed the SEAC spoiler leaving 4 holes in the bootlid.

I need to get a quote for filling those holes, repainting the lid, painting the new spoiler and fitting.

How much you reckon guys ? I have a quote but think its on the heavy side.

Thanks

Can you do any prep work yourself, fill the holes & prepare surfaces for paint?
Most of the quote will be labour, so anything you can do yourself should reduce the final bill.

£200 per panel is the going rate for painting.... I understand.

I bought a spoiler for mine about 2 years ago that was £100 ebay, and a couple of months ago got it sprayed the right colour £80.
The delay was me getting my mind into gear to drill holes in my wedge to fit it!

Waynester - I would not know where to start and I just know I would cock it up.

Rev - Ok thanks for the guideline I will keep looking around.

Kelwedge - I would rather drill my own teeth and drill my wedge so I have to find someone far more competent than I lol

If you don't know someone who'll do it for 'mate's rates', then it's £200-£250 per panel from most commercial bodyshops (as Rev has slready said). You may find cheaper shopping around the smaller one-man band type concerns.

OK so that's 2 x £200 (boot and spoiler) plus fibreglass work to feather out and rebuild where the old holes are, £150? Plus fibreglassing bushes for the new spoiler £150? Plus stripping down and reassembling £50?

So that's £750 to do it properly.
