Lionel Blair is knocking about in Nissan’s Almera 'Flare' for the duration of his new production, the Rocky Horror Show . Lionels... Flares... geddit?

This latest tour has been organised in order to celebrate the show’s 30^th birthday, with Blair playing the part of narrator. The Almera is being used by Lionel to travel to various theatres around the country. Once the tour has finished Lionel will continue to use the car while promoting his new album "Blair Sings Astaire", released last month.

Blare's Almera Flare is the 2.2 litre 112PS dCi unit which Nissan introduced to their diesel engine range back in April. It's frugal but slow. 47mpg is possible but it takes a full series of Pop Idol to reach 62 mph.

is there more than 1 type of Almera 2.2 derv? I was told that this car is the fastest Nissan appart from the new Z car.
