A bit late notice but I and a couple of friends are heading to Glyngorgg this weekend. Will be camping at the Drop Off Cafe. Traveling down on Friday but not riding that day.

Saturday will be heading out at 8ish in the morning to ride the W2. Brunch at Afan before doing the Penhyd loop. Then lunch at Afan before riding back to Glyngorgg on the W2.

Sunday will be heading out at 8ish again and riding the Skyline.

You're welcome to join us for the two Social Pace rides - I'd like to sort out my camera and take some photos. There will be some sessioning of 'looped' bits.

We can meet people in Afan car park on Saturday if 8am is too early. I expect we'll be there at 10ish.

I'll be riding my Cove Stiffee and my mate will be on his DB Alpine. Our third (if they can make it) will be on a Spesh Pitch.

A few of us will be there, although not that early and we won't be riding that mileage! Lads will be on a Fuel EX7, blue Spesh Enduro, Orange Evo8, lasses will be on 2 x RockShoppers and a Scott Scale. Might see you there! Could not get in Glyncorrwg campsite though...or anywhere near for that matter so I hope you've booked!!!

Ha Ha, funny. I spoke to them about 6-weeks ago and got told that there was no need to book but I think she thought I meant for that weekend. Phoned today to check there was space and got told it was full. Staying at our usual hotel now but could only get Friday night so we'll be comng back Saturday evening.

We'll be heading out at about 8:30ish now.

Booked camping for the next BH weekend though.

theboymoon, we headed back last night, saw hard-drive in the car park yesterday, we went on and did the w2 link which was very good, the trails were in good shape, 31 odd miles with a few notable climbs. Friday we took the cwncarn up lift and rode down the XC trail starting from the freeride area. Good couple of days riding, feel a bit knackered now!!

no worries guys, we should all go for a ride sometime soon. Was over at Cwm Carn today riding the XC with Rico and his mate Alex. Was really a very pleasant way to spend a sunday afternoon. If i can drag someone to the hills tomorrow (and if its not pissing it down) then would quite like to get back out again tomorrow somewhere smile

Glad to hear you all had a good time and there were no major chickenwire-in-face type momements wink

Was there this weekend doing the Skyline (Saturday). Cracking day, good weather for it and everyone was in a really good mood!

Did get a bad case of bike envy tho! smile

Good to put some faces to screen names this weekend, albeit brief! We'll have to sort out a proper PH ride soon.

We actually completed Whites on Sat (that was a first for me...first time there I snapped my chain at the bottom of Darkside, second time there I snapped my collarbone halfway down Darkside...bit of a pattern there methinks!), Sun was a great ride around the Black Mountains/Pengenfford, and Sunday was Cwmcarn.

Including Easter that's 7 days of riding, and drizzle on one day, can't be bad for Wales!
