I have a bleed point right on top of the rad on the near side, alot of air came out of this when i drained and refilled mine. Mine is an alloy S rad, not sure if the stock ones are the same.

Best help for bleeding is to jack the car up
at front left, (not drivers) side, so that it is absolutely
the top point of the water level.
I have a alu radiator with bleeding screw
on left side!
It helps a lot, because the air is always
going to the top!
