looking to see what split rim look larger alloys are available for X Type at sensible price - I intend to go up a profile too to try and get better fuel economy - any thoughts on largest rim and profile combo? - Best 'eco' tyres of suitable size?

Something like a cheap clone of the 'Silverstone' edition on the XK might suit on a silver X Type?

very nice - bit pricey but nice - what profile and width tyres do you use - think there is enough room to go up a profile or two? - Looking to get more economic gearing for TDi but yet to do calculations

That's coz they are quality, you buy cheap you buy twice. They fitted Pirelli p_Zero's to the rims. Don't have the car no more so can't say what size they were.
