Hi fonts of all knowledge.

Does anyone know of anything untoward when doing front wheel bearings on the above, or is it as I suspect, fairly straightforward.

Many thanks all..

Going by the bill I was recently presented with, I hope they're a bloody nightmare!

I suspect not though.

Didn't think they could be done without a special puller.

Without looking on th JTIS, IIRC you'll need a 3 ton press and a special tool to remove the ABS ring.

Hub assy off the car is pretty simple. Caliper + carrier, disc etc off, top, bottom and track rod ball joint and ABS sensor.

However

Special tool to undo the ABS rotor, which is also the nut
Special tool the press out out flange
Special tool to support hub assy while pressing out flange
Special tool to press out bearing
Special tool to Press in bearing
Special tool to support bearing while pressing flange back in
Special tool to support hub assy while pressing in flange

Special massive cir clip pliers

Massive 330 NM torque wrench.

oh yes nearly forgot 10 Ton press.

With all that kit, its dead easy, I could do then in an hour. Without it, virtually impossible. And you will destroy your ABS rotor.

Soz to be doom and gloom there may be a club or similar that higher the tools. Any one?.

Just buy a 2nd hand hub off Ebay for £80 with the bearings in. 3 nuts to take off and a quick swop.
