So why was it closed? OK it's old news and clearly a repost but i certainly hadn't seen it before and maybe, just maybe lots of other people hadn't?

I really think closing it is way OTT!

We're not all so anal we get offended by heaven forbid a repost!

The thread would have run it's course with maybe a few interesting/amusing comments/flames and then subsequently died of it's own accord

The thread I linked to (badly ) gave you Garlick's estimation of when feedback on the changes is due, like you asked; hence I only quoted that bit of your query

I've no idea why the other thread was locked, apart from the fact that there was already a thread running on it that was bumped in it...

Aaah, sorry, probably should have re-read that htread to see what you ere on about.

Guess we just carry on waiting for the feedback...news on the Bloodninja would be nice though HM

It wasn't because anyone had done anything wrong, just to keep things tidy really.

The second post on the closed thread was a link to the previous bloodninja thread that was running a couple of months ago, so we closed the new one to avoid the comments being split between the two.

We've always done that, it's nothing new.

Closing with the words 'thread already running' without a link is unacceptable, but providing a link to the thread in question is fair enough in my opinion. If you wish to comment then you have a place to do so on the existing thread.
