Why cant people tell proper lies anymore?

Stopped a Mini Cab driver (i say this in the loosest of terms by the way).
He produced to me an Insurance Certificate which was all fine and dandy until i got to the 'Limitations and Use' section which to my amusement read, 'For Higher and Award use'.

This did make me laugh but obviously there is a serious side to all this isnt there?

Edited because i used the phrase 'Taxi driver' instead of Miniscab!

I assumed you meant he wasnt insured to hire his car out - e.g, as a cab!

In that case im still stumped by your original post! Why was he not insured?

Yes, It should have read, 'For Hire and Reward Use' but sadly for him, he had written it down as he says it.

luckily most common criminals seem to be rather lacking in the IQ department. Hence they are reasonably easy to catch.

though i have to wonder, how many criminals are actually pretty smart and therefore avoid capture and the punishment they deserve

Do ya know I was filing my insurance certificate the other day and I looked at it and thought with a PC and a B&W laser printer I could produce something as good myself - enough to fool the Post Office lady. Can't be easy for you coppers to sort the truth from the lies.
