Going nowhere?

Car is now immobilised and both fobs won't work to disarm.

Tried the obvious, batteries etc -

What now?

If it's a meta alarm.... There is nothing you can do if the immobiliser is not playing. I speak from experience!

If it is a Foxguard then it might just be a resync needed. Described in the bible and handbook. Can't rmemeber off the top of my head how it is done. If that don't work... back to calling an alrm guy.

Please excuse my ignorance ONCE AGAIN!! What is the bible and how do I get hold of one? I really could do with knowing more about the car for when these little hiccups occur

There is no Cerbera bible just yet. I believe shpub's got himself a Cerbera to start writing it from tho.... right?

i had similar problem after a flat battery. was told by helpful guys at peninsula to disconnect alarm module - white plug at the bottom, then reconnect. alarm then resets, press keyfob - should be a.o.k otherwise phone your local dealer - they should be able to help

What white module and where would I find it? I have not been able to lock my car for weeks. Immobiliser works fine though.

Brock has a Cerbera and you have a Griffith. They are totally different animals when it comes to the alarm system.

I don't think discussing alarms and how to get round them on a public forum makes sense (even though the preferred method of entry is to steal the keys). So be careful what you post here please.

As for non locking then it is time to see a specialist especially as you probably have zero theft cover if you know that the locking mechanism is faulty. The immobiliser is a seperate unit.

piersy - if you have a good relationship with your local dealer they are the best people to ask. sorry for misinformation - didnt realize griffiths were so different.
