Morning All!

Seeking a few opinions really (and its an excuse to post pics of car ;-)

Should i lose the front splitter?

I'm in two minds, at first i really liked it, think it give the car a more agressive look, but on the other hand, i'm getting fed up of crawling over speedbumps wondering if its going to scrape and ruin the splitter.

Interested to hear peoples opinions - i kinda like it, but then it looks just fine without as well......cant make my mind up!

If it's interfering with your enjoyment of the car, then lose it. Otherwise one day you're guaranteed to annoy yourself one day when you drive forward into a parking space and hit it against the kerb, or forget about a speedbump etc.. and then the risk of damaging the bumper at the same time.

Car looks in really good condition, any not too many E36 saloons about, looks great thumbup

I have to agree - i think it quite suits the car - just means i reverse into parking spaces because i'm so used to parking a car with hardly any frontage (1998 ford puma shoot)

Where is the front splitter from? IMO it's a little too big and I would get rid of it but it is up to you.

I agree what was said before, if it gets in the way of you enjoying the car on a day to day basis take it off.

I've had the same problem on my E36 M3 convertible, the wife solved it by starting the car in gear and running the splitter into a kerb

Personally, I'd lose it as it's a non aero replica and will do nothing. But keep it if you like how it looks

Lose it, doesn't suit the car IMO. Fit a genuine Evo front lip, nice and subtle.

I'd lose it and just keep the small orignal splitter.

Can it be mounted direct to the bumper instead of to the smaller splitter? That might look better.

My 2p....I think it spoils the lines of the car.

The rest of the car looks great, clean, original....that spoiler, for me, ruins the look and it would look much better without it (assuming it can be done without leaving marks or damaging the exaisting paintwork).

Enjoy the new toy, either way! smile
