Opened a thread on torches, and some of the replies made me realise a proper torch is an item of real man-kit.

What other items are essential man kit?

I reckon for starters

Watch

Knife

Torch

Proper Razor

essential gay kit more like,

No razor use the knife to shave, no torch either a real man shaves in the dark, also no need for a watch as the bird bobbling up and down on you will always leave in the morning when the cab arrives.

+ The ability to use them all correctly, to their full potential.

And no GPS. Real men can navigate.

I like torches that take a hammering and work when its cats and dogs. I actually use them out doors when it is nasty weather. That is why I buy good ones, not cos its a man thing or says Maglite. It just happens that Maglits make good torches.

Second no GPS comment. GPS is saying you cannot navigate with a watch and have no sense of direction and really cannot read a map....... silly
