S1 Quick headlight question: headlight alignment

I'm fitting new headlights and noticed my headlights have a little glass marker just before TDC, if I align these to the markers on the metal back plate, then the headlight glass pattern is not perfectly vertical, is this correct ?

Perfect.. here is the offer for my headlights
2.00 SJ082M0007 OUTER HEADLAMP UNIT (CIBIE) L/H/D 43.50 each (SJ Parts)
I ended up needing the bonded mounting kit, springs and wingnuts...

Thanks for the link, i've just had my front clam resprayed and I was worried that the replaced headlamps were not vertical, I thought this was a problem but the link says thats how they should be! (kind of cock eyed)
