I've asked elsewhere on this site but no harm in a repeat in here. If I go for an 525i post 2001 how much annual duty can I expect to pay as against an pre 2001 model. I understand that the rates change in May this year.

Same question regarding the 530d version. Thanks

Just this morning I paid £102 for 6 months on my 1999 528i SE Auto.

Why dont you type in Vehicle Excise Duty into google? You will need to know your car's CO2 rating as the bands have changed from 1 May 2009...or rather will very shortly.

Wow thanks for this chaps... It turns out that my new car is only going to cost me £215 and not £405 because apparently:
