Ricky Warwick (The Almighty)

Ricky Warwick has a new album out, Belfast Confetti, and my goodness, it is awesome.
Very different to The Almighty, and well worth a listen, i like this dude.

He is also on tour at the moment, and I shall be there in London.

I'll have to give it another listen, thought it wasn't as good as the other solo albums but I was trying to listen to it whilst watching In the Night Garden with Junior!. I'll be at Strathaven Rugby club for that gig though.

Strathaven gig last night was really good. Kind of a homecoming
gig, the first time that Ricky's mum had seen him play live actually.

The old Almighty intro at the start was funny...
"Strathaven!!!..From Strathaven, Scotland..The all loud..etc"

A fantastic night, a few old solo songs, some from the new album,
some excellent Springsteen and Motorhead covers and the old Almighty
favourites.
