Machine polishing is the only way to remove scratches and swirl marks. T. Cutting will look s
t as its to agreesive and worked by hand its worked to slow to give a uniform finish. I'm just having mine detailed to remove all the swirl marks and bird s
t damage and I know from having it done before that it will be immaculate and very shiney - no marks swirls etc. Costs a bit but is the only way to do it properly.

to cover up scratches and swirls i'd use www.autoglym.co.uk/enGB/product-proddetail.asp?v06VQ=HD&Range=1
and then either a good wax or sealant until i could afford a proper correction/detail
you can borrow my megs g220 da machine, a mix of pads and sum mez polish .. if ur up for paying the postage to and from urself ..no strings

Was is the average cost of having a car detailed ? I've heard some really silly numbers before so am unsure of what I should expect to pay if I wanted it done.
