Ah no! I'm looking at driving from canada, as it looks as if we are returning to the uk for a year. so being able to bring loads of clobber will be helpful, my major issues at the mo is finding a one way truck rental to NYC
Having given someone a lift to and from a cruise, I can confirm that passengers were taking huge amounts of luggage with them...But a TRUCKLOAD...?
Hmmm....

not sure how much our stuff amounts to at present, I'd say it would fit in the back of a large SUV (chevvy suburban or something!)with the back seats flat. Not sure we'd get away with bikes and skis though.

...the porters are going to love you...I hope you're planning suitcases, not crates...?
Volume seems a bit high, unless there are more than two of you.

Just contact them to explain beforehand, even if most of it (the stuff you won't need while you're actually on-board) is on a palette I would think they'll have no problem finding somewhere to put it.
Good idea, ill give em a call, the major issues to my cunning plan at the mo is the cross border one way car/truck rental!Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
