It depends on what you mean by good. They use a quartz movement so they will be accurate at telling the time. Some may say they are over priced for a quartz movement, but the cases are ceramic and consequently do not scratch so your Rado will retain its original appearance.

As is the way on this forum, if you like the look and feel of a watch then go for it. Make yourself happy, not the forum smile

Had mine now for 3 years worn everyday for work and play, not a scratch on it and keeps perfect time.

Love it, nearly bought another in SA last year. Only place to by when the Rand is low. smile

Sorry, by good I mean are they well made watches that will last? Are they quality when compared with the usual Omega's, Rolex's etc. I am quite happy to wear something I like that others don't but I dont want to spend my hard earned on some overpriced crap.

I am very new to watches so need it broken down for me I'm afraid.

I like them.

I've had a Rado for +15 years, and it was my everyday watch for years (havn't worn it for a couple of years now). No scratches on the face or case, but the gold bits (I'm sure they are not real gold..) are showing a bit of wear. I noticed that the winder will pull completely out of the watch now (it won't fall out by itself)but it still works fine. Leather straps regularly got stuffed (genuine ones wore out quicker than cheap ones)and occasionally the screws holding the strap pins in fell out - but no major problems. I'll get it serviced sometime and it will be a good watch.

The Rado coped a real hiding and has never stopped. Kinda hard to read at 04:00 am in a dodgy nightclub tho - waaay back when that was my thing.

Rado are certainly good, if you like that sort of thing. Which I don't. But that's just a personal preference.

cool think they're a great idea, plug in and away you go, most of us carry an MP3 now anyway, not sure on the quality though as not owned one.

My father has had his for nearly 20 years and it still looks perfectly brand new. no scratches no fading on the gold. they are definitely built well. I personally am not a fan, but if you like the style, then don't be afraid of the quality. They're absolutely fine as far as quartz movements go.
