I've got one of these, had it about 3 years, and it needs a service. The top chrono hand does not lie vertical when not in use if that makes sense. I've also got some scratches on the bezel and a few little ones on the glass (must not stagger into walls when drunk!!!). Is it possible to get these polished out or a new bezel fitted?

What should I be looking to pay, or more to the point is it worth it financially? I know it's only a Seiko but I do really like this watch...

You should be able to reset the chronograph hand yourself. Refer to the instruction manual, or, if you pull the crown out to the time setting position and press one of the chronograph buttons, this should rectify the problem. smile

I have the same watch (and the same problems!) although mine is the heavy weight version, not the Ti.

Would be interested in any info anyone has. My watch was around £550 so is it really worth getting a watch of this value serviced? It seems ok at the moment, but you wouldn't apply this philosophy ("its ok now, therefore it will be ok forever") to car servicing so thought I would ask the question!
