As per the title, car stolen last night from outside my home.

No pictures as of yet but will post up if I can find any.

Stolen in Milton Keynes between 18:30 Apr 30th and 09:30 May 1st. Dark blue (helious blue) MK2 Golf gti 3dr, small bumper model with 15" bbs RA's. Reg: G772 WCF. Very clean and standard except for a small ding under the N/S light and a 4" scratch on the bonnet (again N/S)

If people in the area could keep their eyes peeled. I'd like to see it back as this car's been nothing but good to me.

My mates Red MK2 driver got taken from Eaglestone the other day. Was found in the gravel car park by David Lloyds (one opposite entrance for Gullivers) with no damage bar a lock and ignition. I drive that way home so will have a look.

I am local (Middleton) and will keep them peeled.

I'm aylesbury way and know a few people who deal with golf gti's so will keep my eyes peeled.

When a chum of mine had his rs turbo stolen from "helter skelter" (mid 90's) in MK we trawled the local MK estates every night for a week.

We found the RS Turbo, stripped, but the doors etc were in the back of another car so the police recovered all the cars involved and my chum got it back minus its wheels and interior!

I suggest you get yourself a map of MK and borrow a firends car and search every street in the MK area, sounds ridiculous but it worked for us, and only took 4 nights - bear in mind we all lived in Harrow at the time it was no mean feat but the outcome was good.

Good Luck.

PS. Try Fishermead....., I think thats where we found ours, but keep your doors locked and your windows closed.

Lakes estate in bletchley is worth a look too.

I had a word with my friend over the weekend who is a Police officer in MK.

He suggested you also look over pub car parks as stolen cars are often left there for a few days before being moved if not taken purely for joy riding.

I am still keeping them peeled for you.

Cheers guys,

I've had a look all over - no joy yet though I am still keeping them peeled. I'm guessing that this late in the day it will have been broken up for parts etc.

Good news (?) is the insurance co. made a first offer of £1400 which is more than I thought they would. Naturally I'm declining this offer and am in the process of photocopying all reciepts etc and putting a strong case forward for a bit more £££

Of course now that it's been nicked I keep seing lots of really nice MK2's about. Jade green CL yesterday lowered on G60 steels and a black big bumper with very shiney RM's
