I'm trying to get the ECU feed temp sensor for my '94 (pre-Serp) Chimaera 400 but to no avail.

It's the one on top of the engine with the twin wire connector.....my local independant garage has been trying to order one for a couple of months now, but to no avail.....any ideas chaps?

I want to get her back on the road for summer......

ETA: MODS, i put it in General TVR to get a wider audience, please don't move it to the Chimaera forum as the Griff driving 'apes' may be able to help me. wink

I got one from my local landy indy, about £8 if I remember correctly. Just ask for a range rover v8 coolant temp sensor. It's a lucas part.

Utterly superb... To say it's a different car is an understatement. If your not happy with the suspension get yourself to Centre Gravity, Chris will get it working a treat.

I can easily do three figures on a bumpy backroad with my hands almost off the wheel. Brake, alter attitude mid corner, throttle on or off and she just laps it up. driving

Not cheap, but totally worth every penny.

fraid not.....we tried that exact one and the thread pitch & diameter was wrong.

Thanks, anyway.

I just talked to my engineer chap and he has one on order which he is sure will fit.....failing that, we are looking at re-tapping the hole to fit with the sensor you have suggested thumbup
