PC who hit schoolgirl jailed for three years

So the police office who hit and killed a 16 year old while doing up to 94mph in a 30 with no sirens or lights on has been jailed for 3 years.

IMO, on the one hand he was going way to fast, the car he was trying to catch up with wasn't trying to get away from him, and he should have put his sirens on in a built up area. However, rapists and murderers get similar sentences for crimes with intent to harm or kill, this guy was doing his job, albeit not to the required standard and safety for the gen public.

What do you guys think of the sentence?
