i've got 16 fuses in my glovebox (89 400SE)....what i see doesn't bear any resemblance to the bible or owners handbook.....are the rest in the passenger footwell?
(recently had a quick look to swap relays over for fault finding)....i'm just trying to eliminate the fuse from the lack of 'Horn'age in the beast.
Relay clicks over when horn pressed ,earth at horns are good but no voltage at purple/black coloured cables....suspect fuse or an in-line connector?

Could even be that the relay contacts are burned. Probe the 'inlet' side of the relay to rule it out.

Fuses can also be found (in mine anyway) with the relays, inside the central console and by the steering wheel. Of course, there are probably fuses I haven't found yet - Streaky

PS - my fuse box bears no relation to the 'bible' or to the handbook either - S

I have already swapped the relays over,to no avail....good shout on the burnt power inlet contacts wedgie...will have a look when i've got a decent bit of time/light ....the annoying thing was that the horns or at least one of them worked briefly last week for a couple of attempts
Blaine...have not got a list of fuse functions as the cover appears to be 'homemade'
