Audi 2.5 tdi Auto or CVT

I have been offered an Audi 2002/52 TDI A4 auto with only 35,000 miles (car is mint). Dealer said that the box is an auto and not the troubled CVT. i have an old Glass guide and i cant find auto in the prices but the CVT is there, So is the car a CVT or Auto? And they are asking £7,000 for it. Is this a fair price?

If its quattro then its a normal automatic box, they call it tiptronic.

If its front wheel drive it will be the CVT box they call multi tronic.

Thanks for that, No its not quattro its front wheel drive. Had i best stay well clear? as car is for misses and baby and i would hate for them to break down.
