Just wondering is there a digital read out on the computer to see what the car's oil temp is? would be interesting to see how hot it gets when driving 'spiritedly' smile

thanks

Why, is the instrument read out not accurate?

Mine was caned all day at Vmax last week and resolutely stayed in the middle, where it should be smile

i thought the one on the instrument was coolant temp? my mate has an Audi RS4 and when caning his the coolant read out stays the same, but the oil temp can go near 120 deg celcius. just curious really smile

I think we can't have the oil temp in the stock car.

This is a serious reason for me to move to the performance steringwheel. It seems that you get water and oil temp plus G-meter and a few gizmos.

curious to see the other answers

Seriously?

Your dads car doesnt have a coolant temperature gague does it?

The read out under the rev counter, with the little oil can signifying it, is the oil temp. It should stay in the middle - ish.

Does that answer your question or have I misunderstood it?
