I'm sure Kevin has stated before Chatsworth do not allow stands, I think the TVRCC one was a "one off". Chatsworth appear to be quite strict on rules e.g No BBQs.
I always feel Chatsworth is a social gathering, in a magnificent setting and I'd like it to stay that way...IMHO of course.

I live nearby, I could set up a little shop next time in my village, you could stop on way back to buy cool tvr t shirts, mugs, pshrub stuff etc in fact I could set it up at a pub for the whole weekend so you could also get beer and pies!! Maybe also a tvr cocktail (tequila vodka and rum).

I believe from Kevin that you could have trade stands but they are very expensive and it would just add yet another complication to the day. The Melling was supposed to turn up but they 'got a better offer' which I can understnad in the current market but I feel they did shoot themselves in the foot and didn't do themselves any favours as they had created quite a bit of interest not only in the car but their services. Getting people to turn up with special cars like the 'Speed 12' costs money as well(it needs quite a lot of support) which either has to be found by the organisers or by the owner and would imo be hard to justify for a few hours.

Kevin's vision of Chatsworth is a 'gathering' not a major event although it seems he's created a monster. Putting more demands on he and his team I suspect would kill it unless additional support and no doubt money was forthcoming, it's always easy to suggest adding more but when it boils down to it it all takes time and effort which for a small team of volunteers can become too much.

Lovely to see so many Tivs there this year, I may even visit next years event in my own Chim which would make the whole experience even more fun. Any one know the final turn out, I was told at least 485.
I think the Chatsworth pie shop was a little over stretched (and that was before I went in there!).This being my only constructive criticism for the future, however the pies were very nice. lick Thanks to the organisers for their efforts. It must be difficult not knowing exactly how many cars and people are going to turn up.
Was there a Typhon there, I'm sure I remember seeing one last year? I missed it if there was.

I understand from the EMTVRCC RO that he had spoken with Kev and there were 670 TVRs attended, I arrived at midday and my ticket number was 563.

It was my first time at Chatsworth. I thought the whole thing was really good. I spoke to a number of other owners, as well as owners who are servicing TVR's and it was just a great opportunity to share experiences, in a magnificanet setting. Whether making it a more 'commercial' enterprise would make it better? I'm not so sure.
