Hi guy's
Anybody have a view as to whether a Sept 08 330d with 5k miles,leather,225 wheels, auto box, seat heating and sun protection glass looks like good value at £29k from a main dealer?
What do you think please?

Cheers

Steve

sorry, should add that the car I'm looking at is an M Sport

It would seem to be. I've checked bmw.co.uk and that would make it pretty much the cheapest around at the moment.

Not so sure as whether a year old three series at £29K is 'good value'.

Thanks PG,

Know what you mean,it's a lot of money,to me anyway, and although I could probably find an older car that would represent better value am at the point where, after driving a bit of a shed for a while out of necessity I really just fancy a newish car,not much logic but after driving the coupe am pretty much taken with it,but even after dithering for ages would be interested in what else you think I should be considering?

As para said, depreciation is pretty woeful on bmw's these days, hence my reference to good value. Its a good price for the car, but not such good value, if you know what i mean!

It sounds like fairly optimum spec - a 335d might be worth considering, but then they're about £3K more.

At circa £30k you might as well haggle on an 18 month old BMW AUC E92 M3 down to £32k ish........

Cheers Cab,

Nice cars and I might get a drive in one before I commit to a coupe, spent more time over the weekend dithering at my local dealership and am now decided on a silver, rather than graphite car,so that puts the car that prompted this thread out of the picture, andnow there is a nicely spec'ed 335 M sport on the AUC site thats caught my eye !
Will be such a relief to finally buy a car so I can get onto obsessing about something else!

Cheers

Steve
