Powerfeed for the stereo anyone?
Discussion
Seem to ahve a dead stereo and suspect its the power in as there is usually an inline fuse somewhere that has caused me problems with other cars in the past. Knowing how TVR like to connect odd things to other odd things with wiring, I thought I'd test to see what else is not working, but as of now, all seems ok. There is a mass of wiring behind the centre console, but I can't see a fuse. Anyone have any ideas?

you probably had a dead stereo since the day you bought the car, not like you are able to hear it is it?
Pardon?
Stereo used to work, but only audible at low speeds when moving in rush hour traffic. Doing a lot more of that now and seem to be suffering from TVR electics at the moment. Still, given that the engine has dropped out of tune now, I have to keep blipping the throttle when cold so its not that much ogf a problem..
Mine had two inline fuses from the battery behind the head unit, and one from ignition also.
The ignition power is also twisted onto the permanent feed from battery, so both feeds are permanent (good for battery draining with a lit up sterio fachia).
Don't know if this masterpiece was a TVR circa '91, or done when the stereo was upgraded, either way messy is an understatement
