re map

having stuck my car on the rollers today it seems she is running rather lean at 5k rpm n over, charley at surry rr sugested contacting dom at power (email sent) anyone else had a re map, new ecu, results??

What did it make? A de cat chip from Dom helped mine.

hi al, it made 358 but after 5k rpm it all went a bit wrong, its an s engine, just fully run in after rebuild

did you notice any difference in performance/power delivery, and how big a dent in the pocket

It made fueling better, but its still a generic chip, for a decat so to speak. Power was 360 at SRR so yours is looking healthy once its chipped. Not a massive dent either around £100 iirc.

Could always use my chip if you want, only takes a bit to swap, and quick ecu reset.

Been meaning to run mine on STD to see the difference. Sure Charlie wont mind either.

I'm about to de-cat.

What is the benifit of a full in house re-map over the standard de-cat chip.

I thought it would be worth a journey (and £££) to TVR Power for custom remap but if its not necessary I will just get the de-cat chip fitted locally.

I want to get the best chance of passing the MOT!!
