So these have been stopped in this country (does anyone know why?) but I have had a friend bring some over from the states in her hand luggage!!

They are great, is there anywhere you can buy them in this country for a half reasonable price?

And does anyone else love them?

They are amazing - next time get her to bring the Chocolate Lucky Charms. They're even better...
I heard that they were stopped over here because they were reclassed as confectionary and the price would have been bumped up to silly/pointless levels. There are a few places that sell them, but they're about £6 a go. T'interweb my find some cheaper though...

I must sound like a right loon with all the lucky charms knowledge.

I've got a friend hopelessly addicted to these. I bring them back from the US for her as by all accounts Selfridges sell them for £6+ a box. Ouch especially as last time they were on offer in Walgreens and cost less than a quid a box.

The cereal of kings.

Get these and you will never want another cereal again. I bought 4 boxes back from Canada.

They are amazing. Plus the sugar keeps you going pretty much all day.

Why not get small marshmallows and throw them in normal cereal that has a similar texture to that cereal?

I was told they were stopped due to the amount of e-numbers in them. When we came back from our road trip last year one of the girls we went with brought back about 10 boxes in a suitcase she bought especially for that purpose lol

Pure sugary crap. I've seen them for £6 a box in a few imported food shops.

I loved these as a kid, was devastated when they disappeared.

Imagine my pure unadulterated excitement when we went to Florida and found they were still on sale. I even managed to squeeze a box in my suitcase for eating at home. frown

If you know somebody on a US air base then it might be available cheap there, most of the stuff is sold at US retail prices.

Anyone here on PH in the USA (I know there are some) want to fill up a 20 footer with cereals, drinks and other foreign foods and ship it over?

Seen them in Fenwicks in Newcastle and once on the net but they were fairly expensive. Have you tried the likes of Aldi or Lidl for an alternative?
