Can a turbo be fitted to a wedge? want the car to be faster to shut the jap loving brother in law up, where can I get one and from who? where can I get a new management system from, HELP LADS.
Just ask him where the rest of his engine is, compared to your 8 cylinders. When it comes to tuning the RV8, the supercharging root does seem to have gained popularity, partly I think because of the heat issues associated with a turbo.
As for engine management systems, there are quite few choices now - Emerald seems to be quite popular with RV8 engines.

i got a tasmin 2.8 with a turbo
Oh really !
Is it one of the famous few factory ones ?

There's quite a few 2ltr Cosworth turbo ones also.
Plus CJ had a 2.8 Twin turbo 500 BHP + when it worked. (this was in his tasmin racer, but now in his T350
TVR Power do a nice supercharger conversion 5ltr with a SC will give you 500 BHP +
All depends on how much power you want and how big your wallet is

Just how old is this engine? I wouldn't consider jamming any high boost through anolder engine. If you plan to, at the very least get new cylinder head gaskets first.
On another note, I agree with what someone else said about the heat issue. An intercooler
would certainly help but where would you mount one? Top mounted isn't really feasible and
front mounting it only serves to further restrict an already small air inlet needed by your
radiator and oil cooler. OTOH if you go with a supercharger you have no need for intercooling,
you have no turbo lag, and far better low end torque. If you add in a water/meth injection kit,
you can run a more advanced timing too, plus have the added benefits of the water/meth in the
combustion process.
As for a new managentment system, http://haltech.com/index.php?option=com_content&am...
is what I'd like someday for my wedge.

This thing looks like the ideal wedge boosting product
to me. A nice conservative 8 to 10 psi would have my
390 eating stock 450's I'd think.

It was mounted onto the front of the passenger head above the pas gubbins. A Procharger should work well to but I do like tubbies.
