R8 driver - full respect

Driving north on the A24 today in my Scirocco GT I came upon an R8 (nice colour combo too) heading north. We played for a few miles - well he allowed me to tag along at around the ton - and then beckoned me past to lead for a while. Gave the 'rocco quite a work out whle I guess his car was well bored with the whole thing...nice gesture though.

Main point - what a good looking piece of machinery that car is. R8 owners, you're lucky boys. Now, to plan how to park one alongside my planned Vette ZR1...;)

They do have a really quite special road presence that doesn't completely come across on a static car. - really do hug the road don't they?
