stoneleigh meet
Discussion
Hi
Just would like to be the first to thank Ted and Ultima for the bottle of Champers when we arrived at the show today..
It was much unexpected surprise to be thanked for attending the show and very welcoming that the car manufacturer cares about its clients supporting them..
After only having the car for a day and a half it was lovely to meet guys who i have chatted with on the forum , yet never met...Sorry if i mist a few.
i have also found the cure to what initially i thought was bump steer in that my car has antiroll bars front and back and i have been told remove them for the road as its too much.Track use only.........result, something to do next weekend..
Home everyone got back safley and did not leave too many black lines........whoops sorry

thotfast said: good day out all round, spent most of it looking at other cars and the show, but good to catch up and a free bottle of bubbly - Thanks Ted!
Only problem is my car looked very tied and dirty against all the other (new) ones! Poo! - another month in the shed tarting it up again now!
I wouldnt be too upset, i heard several people comment that they prefer the shape of your car to us new gtr's.Only problem is my car looked very tied and dirty against all the other (new) ones! Poo! - another month in the shed tarting it up again now!

What a turnout! 26 or more cars all looking great in the sunshine.
For its first run (254 miles) V8UCA ran flawlessly, with the exception of a small body rub on the offside rear wheel on acceleration, which I have, hopefully, fixed.
It was great to meet you all and to cap it all, a bottle of bubbly from the factory!
When is the next meet?

Good to catch up with some of you and many thanks for the bottle of bubbly Ted...
Best turn out I have seen for a while!
Unfortunately couldn't make the show at Stoneleigh. Will try the factory open day in August. Great photos and a pleasure to see some very fine cars. Stig: shouldn't the photos be placed here

so that they can be found at a later date? The search function will probably lose track of them in a few months time.

Hi, we went on the Monday couldnt make sunday due to work.. Got there around 2ish. Now disapointed having read that many more Ultimas showed up on the Sunday. there was the 2 factory ultimas outside, the gulf colours, deep red, black (liked the vented air inlets on the wings) and older grey ultima. All of which looked really good.
It was nice to see the Ultima in the flesh, albeit disapointed we never got the chance to hear one
drive
We just stayed quiet as no questions to ask at the stage, sure once we starting building one we will have lots.
We definately want one now, but i think we might have to re-think the tour of europe having seen that the side pods are tiny lol.
