I have an intermittent problem with my 330. It doesn't seem to accelerate properly but the biggest issue is that sometimes from stationary when you go to move away, the engine cuts out. After restarting the same thing happens and the only way to move forward is on idle revs and then try to accelerate. This works easier if you put the gearbox in sport mode.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this and how much it will cost to fix.

Have the rubber intake pipe from the air filter to the throttle body checked for rips.....best to take it off to see.
Also the disa flap (on side of intake manifold) prone to fail and also the Cyclone under the manifold (oil separator).

Also need the fault memory cheked and cleared

Camshaft position sensor, I'd almost put money on it. They're only cheap, but best to get it plugged into a diagnostic computer as there are two and you don't want to change the wrong one.

Many thanks. I've found a couple on ebay, is it worth changing both ? Do I need to do anything else ?
