Full retrim from a local place in Bromsgrove (does David Geralds stuff) was around £3k. From D&C trimming (Blackpool Ex TVR guys), around £2.5k.

Two seats - around £800.

Yep, partly - I had all of my carpets replaced last May by A&R Pound in Baldock. They came highly recommended on PH, although mine was the first Tuscan they had ever done. All in all, I was very pleased with the work performed, and at £400, it was very good value including carpet of far higher quality than the original. The downsides - well, the pod presented too many challenges for them and so the carpeting in the dash area had to be done by Racing Green as I did not want to risk any issues there. That added another £300 or so if memory serves. Also, when I collected the car from Pound, it was very dirty inside and out so needed a good clean, but given that they work from a tiny site, this was something I could let go and was about to clay-bar the car anyhow. All in all, recommended and very good value - really improved my interior carpet which was of shockingly poor quality from the factory.

Do you have any pics Mustang Baz...?

Robert thanks for the rough prices a real eye opener... May look into this however a very expensive mod but you do spend all your time in the car...

Thinking time...

Martrim in Middlewich did my carpets, door cards, gaitors and seats £1450. Great job and Martin is a good, honest guy!

Be careful when comparing BDM, the dash, steering wheel, targa bar, rear bulkhead, front screen surround are all EXCLUDED from that £1450 (I think, please correct me if i am wrong), which, when you consider £2500 was COMPLETE - i.e. turn up, complete interior change, and then collect the keys and drive away, its comparible or better than the £1450...

I did some phoning round when looking at Tuscans, to see how much it would be to get one the way i wanted it. Didnt turn out to be economical and i managed to find one in the condition i wanted so good all round.

Very true! Those parts would be extra and also the centre console which I didn't have done. For me those other areas didn't need doing as they are still in good condition.

I spoke to D&C and they seemed very well priced for all that work. For me, the car was being resprayed in Chester, I live in West Sussex and wanted it all done in one hit. Martin was happy to go to the sprayers to remove the seats, doorcards, gaitors and carpets and return and fit when done. I did have the original seats cleaned and connolised first which was £100 of the £1450 but then decided they weren't quite smart enough so Martin came back and removed the seats again and retrimmed and returned them. A good, honest, nice guy!

If you go to D&C and have the whole interior done you will also need to pay for the screen to be removed and refitted and hope it doesn't break. I have heard very good reports from D&C as well as Martrim. You pays your money...!
