Door adjustment

anyone know if you can adjust the doors
at all to make the angle change a little
My passenger side is a little low and
catches somewhere

Shim plates in the hinge on mine.

What about adjustment for angle
along the length of the car ie to
align the striker bar with the catch?
Is that a shim job too?

There's a special tool with two pins to loosen the striker and jiggle it to the correct place...but I haven't got one. Once you've done it ,put insulation tape round the striker, the door closing sounds a lot better than metal on metal. Wish I could find a striker with a nylon bush.
