My new chassis but not van...

Hi,

I have just bought a new chassis for a locost which is in befordshire. I am 21 and have 2 endorsements on my license so I am finding it hard to rent a van!

Does anybody know of van hire company near southampton which would hire me a van or a company who would collect the chassis for me for a reasonable charge?

We use TLS regularly for vans (LWB Sprinter types) and from memory when we set our account up, there wasn't an issue with drivers unless you had MORE than six points.

Plus they have branches nationwide (including Southampton!)

Failing the van hire, a big estate car and a roofrack will do it. Get the chassis nice and tight with some decent ratchet straps and it will be fine.

I brought my Ultima chassis home on a 5' x 4' box trailer.
If you have something to tow it with you are welcome to borrow it.
