I use Mailwasher www.mailwasher.net/ to filter out spam. It takes a bit of teaching but also has online lookup to identify the spam and now, out of 30-40 spam emails I receive a day, it identifies 9 out of 10 correctly. The beauty is that it does all this without downloading the emails from the server, so you can set it up to delete the emails and/or bounce them back to the sender without them becoming any the wiser that it's a live email address.

I also use mailwasher and can recommend it. ALthough I had to switch off the on line checking becuase it was too slow over a 56K dial up. However the version I have downloads the emails to you PC first, let's you filter them and then bounces them. Do I have a different version? My local black list file is up to over 2000 domain names now . If you install it I'll mail you it. That will give you a head start.
