Hi all had a new cam and engine service last year by Jamie at castle race engines and was very happy with the outcome ! however i have been unable to contact jamie of late regards the brand of oil used ! will it be a problem if i dont use the same brand ? many thanks
Same brand is not a problem,. The problem is ..Was it semi or full synth oil.. Any leading brand are as good as each other,, Shell, mobile are just a few. Best to give the car a complete oil change & filter ,, Then you have no worrys what was in there before... Hope this helps....
