How old is this actuator?
Discussion
What are the turbo actuators actually made off and how quickly do they corrode?
I have a bit of a dilemma - I recently had the rear actuator replaced but beforehand I checked the front to see if that also needed replacing and it looked quite new (that was last month) - I checked the paperwork and indeeed it had been replaced last May and the car has only done limited mileage since.
Now I looked again this weekend and it is very badly corroded to such an extent that I am questioning whether it is actually the same actuator I inspected last month
Now with a photo:

Am I going mad or can they corrode very quickly. Surely the garage cannot have just swapped them over....Suggestions?
