Thanks, they look very good. It's starting to grow on me that car, and I love the "Stratos" windscreen shape.

Looks lovely but why is the UK press car, made in the UK, but LHD?

The stratos comparison is very interesting, there are alot of reminders of it in the side profile.

There are around 10 cars up here for the launch Andrew, half of them being LHD. I only managed to photograph the two pearl white examples, the rest were out with the journalists when i grabbed my camera.

Passed loads yesterday on A82/A83/A819 between Glasgow and Oban.

Also at least 4 this afternoon on A819 between Inveraray and Dalmally, including an Evora, Porsche 911 and something else exotic spread across the whole road being filmed by a guy in the boot of a Nissan GTR thingy! at (about 20mph)... worse than caravans!

I am a big Lotus fan BUT there is something still very "kit car" about this Evora? Surely they should have just marketed it as the new Elise instead of gunning for the Cayman S and in some articles as a 911 rival? Sure the interior looks a bit more upmarket but there is something unfinished about this car.

P.S. £50k+ fully specced for a 270bhp car is very advantageous in todays market. I would put it on par with the Porsche Panamera in regards to a car that is going to cost its company £££'s in losses.

On a positive note - Nice pictures, shame about the weather as Cameron house is a beautiful setting.

This would explain the red one I saw on Monday going sideways round the roundabout at the end on the Glen Friun road...

Wondered what they were up to when they had a photographer poised at the side of the road.

Don't know what the MoD police that were coming the other way though

If people want something that looks like an Elise, then surely they'll just buy an Elise?

too underpowered as well, it will only sell once they bring out the more powerful version
