Tamora 4000km Cape Town Tour / Tamora production restart ?

I have found some spectacular pics of a trip my wife and I did to Cape Town via the Garden Route. Spectacular stuff. We joined a Lotus group who trucked their cars most of the way, but we did the real driving bit. Apart from a bad pot hole at night, which loosened some baffle plate in the exhaust box, we had no trouble, surprisingly not even a damaged rim. I am a recent member and not sure how to add pic. Also stopped over at HiTech factory that originaly produced the Noble chassis, and were told that there had been talks of restarting Tamora production at that plant, but shelved for financial reasons. Has anyone heard of such interest elsewhere in the world?

I only had some unusual heating when entering some small towns and stuck in traffic. I replaced the radiator cap as a preventative measure which seemed to help a little, but from this wonderful forum, I have a hint that it may just be a simple bleeding exercise, which I will do upon my return home. I am in Madeira at present and due to leave tomorrow for Portugal, and then home to sunny South Africa on Sunday, so watch this space.

Is that the Tam road tested by "Car South Africa" in 2005?

Yes, I believe that it is. This car was bought by a friend of mine, as a demo car after the test. He drove it for a while and traded it in against an Elise and later an Exige which he still owns. The price became attractive, when the dealer heard of the potential problems of TVR, and the deal was sweetened when they did a trade-in against a rather sad Esprit S3, which I had recently bought. I purchased the Tamora without even taking it for a test drive, as I knew it's history, and the care that Nick had given it.
