How very queer.....

Several times recently my ipod (via a Denison Gateway) has shut off with an ALARM caption appearing on the stereo display.
This is easily cleared by selecting FM then AUX.

The odd thing about this is that it only happens when entering the limehouse link tunnel in London, and only when I've been wearing shorts, last week I was wearing trousers and it didn't happen.

Does anyone know what would cause an ALARM caption to appear on the stereo display?
Could it be that my ipod has a built in speed camera detector that I don't know about?
Could it be that my car is protesting about my ridiculous shorts?

It's a feature of RDS radios, you can send out an "Alarm" signal that makes all RDS radios turn to your signal. They use it in tunnels in case of fire etc... I shouldn't be on unless there's an emergency but I did notice that it was on in Limehouse on Saturday.
