right, a while ago i bought some 15" bbs alloys for the E21. i was sold them by someone who had an E21 and had them running on it, but he couldn't sell me the bolts he had and now i can't contact him. the wheels have a different offset to the E21 (the offset of the new wheels is e24) and the wheels are wider and they have to run on 15mm spacers.

the question i ask is - do i need wheel bolts which are simply 15mm longer, or do i need something completely different because of th different offset and/or different wheel width (the new wheels are 7j, not 5.5j! tyres will be going from 165/80R13 to 195/55R15 - more grip i hope! biggrin )

thanks for any comments guys!

You should just need the longer bolts with the same taper angle where the bolts contact the wheels.

nice one, just as i thought. i ordered 12 normal wheel bolts (well, as standard but 15mm longer!) and 4 locking ones. can't wait to get the wheels on, should look smart smile i tell people i'm changing the wheels they keep thinking i'm getting some like you would from halfords! don't think they would suit (or fit!) a 1982 bimmer!

thanks again mate.
